FVE Preschool earns highest rating by Colorado Shines

Fraser Valley Elementary Preschool earns the highest rating 5/5 by Colorado Shines (formerly Qualistar) an external evaluation program by the Colorado Department of Human Services and Colorado Department of Education.   Out of thousands of preschools in the state, Fraser Valley Preschool is one of 18 to receive the 5/5 rating and one of only two rural preschool programs to be rated a 5.  This is a huge accomplishment and celebration for preschool director Diane Jacobsen and staff Elisa Jenkins and Denise Zander. Through their hard work we know that students are gaining a strong foundation in learning in the highest quality preschool program available.

America Achieves selects FVE teacher for a Colorado Educator Voice Fellowship

America Achieves selected FVES’s Cindy Rimmer, a 4th Grade teacher, for a Colorado Educator Voice Fellowship. The Colorado Educator Voice Fellowship equips top teachers and principals to tap their classroom and school expertise to have an effective seat at the table and be co-architects of state and local education policy that raises standards for teaching and learning, makes public education more equitable, and elevates the teaching profession.
